Clerical staff from PDD, Edu support Jan 27 protest prog

JAMMU, Jan 21: All J&K School Education Department  Clerical Employees Association, Stationery & Office Supplies Department Employees Association  and All J&K Power Development  Department Clerical Employees Association, have resolved to support pen down strike call given by Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association.
In a meeting of PDD Clerical Employees Association held under the leadership of Meenakshi Sharma, president of the Association here today, the members unanimously  decided to participate in pen down strike announced by Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association and also participate in large number in the protest rally being held on January 27, 2017  at Press Club, Jammu. She appealed all the clerical staff members of the department to participate in the strike programme.
Meenakshi  Sharma urged upon the Govt to implement High Court order vide SWP No. 3058/ 2015  and contempt  No. 25/ 2016 in letter and spirit with regard to removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre. She also demanded conduct of DPC in time, increase Medical allowance of the employees from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, grant of dislocation allowance and regularization of daily wagers/ casual workers.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included Prem Nath, Ajay Sharma, MR Verma, Balbir Singh, Surinder Singh, Pankaj Khajuria and Jagdish Sagar.
Meanwhile,  School Education Department Clerical Employees Association led by Bharat Bhushan Kotwal during a meeting here today also endorsed the strike call given by All Departments Clerical Staff Association led by Babu Hussain Malik on January 27. Kotwal appealed to the clerical staff of the department at attend grand rally at press Club on this date in the morning in support of the demand of removal of pay anomalies.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included , Subhash Jamwal, Javed Hashmi, Ansuya Gupta, Dinesh Gupta,  Sham Parsad,  Rampal Sharma, Kuldip Singh  and Munshi Ram.
All J&K Stationery & Office Supplies Department Employees Association headed by Babu Hussain Malik  has also endorsed the strike call on January 27 and appealed to the employees of the department to participate in large number in the protest programme at Press Club  and also observe complete pen down strike on this date. A meeting in this connection was also held in the office complex which was  attended by Seva Ram, Uday Singh Pathania, Jaswant Singh, Manjit Singh, Veerji Koul, Dwarka Nath, Dalip Singh, Mohd Shafiq  and others.
