SRINAGAR, Apr 24: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association held a protest demonstration at Press Enclave here today demanding removal of pay anomalies of the employees.
Scores of protesters while raising slogans against the Government demanded that their long pending demands particularly pay anomalies of the employees should be fulfilled.
Mohd Sultan Mir, State president of the Association said that they have been repeatedly asking Government since 2004 to solve their issues but till date nothing happened. “The pay anomalies of employees are pending since 2004 and we had been repeatedly asking Government to solve the issues of clerical staff but till date, the demands were not fulfilled. Government promised us and even the Finance Department approved it but practically nothing was done,” he said
The protesters threatened that if their demands are not fulfilled, they will be forced to come on roads and if any untoward incident happens, Government will be responsible for that.
