Clerical Staff Association seeks removal of pay anomaly

JAMMU, Oct 22: Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association has appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Finance Minister A R Rather to personally intervene for ensuring justice with the clerical cadre by removing the pay anomalies of the cadre.
A joint meeting of the representatives of the Association was held under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, State president,  who criticized the Government
for deliberately betraying from the commitment made with the employees promising removal of pay anomalies. The Government has changed the basic qualification and service rules of Clerical cadre from time to time but the Grade of Junior Assistant  is still 2045-4910 inspite of higher academic and technical qualification, he lamented.
The meeting also highlighted the demands, such as re-organization of the cadre as Assistant to Head Assistant and Section Officer, release of pending DA and increase of Medical allowance.
Those who attended the meeting, included Khurshid Ahmad Dewani, Javed Ahmad Akhoon, Bharat Bhushan, Yashpal Sharma, Seva Ram Rathore, Jaswant Singh, Meenakshi Sharma, Vipan Kumar, Kavi Raj, Inayat-Ullah, Munish Sharma and others.
