Class 9th girl attempts suicide on being denied to appear in exam

REASI, Aug 5:  A girl student of class 9th attempted suicide after she was not allowed to appear in the examination.
The victim, identified as Jasmine Akhter, daughter of Jamal Din of village Tukson, Mahore and a student of class 9th in Government High School Tukson, consumed some poisonous substance when she was refused by the school to appear in the exams on the reason that her name was registered in the school record.
Condition of the girl was stated to be out of danger. On getting information about the incident, Police swung into action and register a case FIR number 59/2017, under section 409, 420 against the school staff at Police Station Mahore.
