CJM grants interim bail to 2 accused in duping case

JAMMU, June 3: CJM Jammu, S R Gandhi today granted interim bail to Minder Pal Singh and Rupesh Sharma, who were arrested for preparing forged documents of JKCA and duping many innocent people.
After hearing Advocate Dheeraj Choudhary appearing for the accused, CJM observed, “grant of bail is rule and refusal is an exception. The bar under Section 497 CrPC is not attracted in this case and  the presence of accused persons during the trial can be secured by imposing reasonable conditions”.
Accordingly, the court granted interim bail up to June 27, 2013 on furnishing of bail bond and personal bond to the tune of Rs 20,000 each.
