JAMMU, Dec 3: Chief Justice of J&K High Court, Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed today visited Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex and Dogra Art Museum.
In Dogra Art Museum, the Chief Justice took keen interest in armoury section, terracottas, miniature paintings and manuscripts particularly in Basholi paintings and Manu Samiriti, palm-leaf manuscript and birch-bark manuscript.
He also took walk inside Mubarak Mandi Complex and shown deep interest in the history and architecture of the Complex. The heritage walk inside Dogra Art Museum and Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex was conducted by Kirpal Singh, Curator, Dogra Art Museum.
Chief Justice was accompanied by M S Zahid, Director Archives, Archaeology and Museums and other staff members. Sham Lal, Director Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society and officers from judiciary and civil administration were also present, said a handout issued by Directorate of Archives, Archaeology and Museum.
