UDHAMPUR, Feb 13: The final match of Volleyball was today played between Housing Colony Club and City Volleyball Club Udhampur at Mini Stadium, here. Dr. Shailendra Mishra,SSP Udhampur also witnessed the match with great zeal and enthusiasm. CBC won the match in a very tight contest from Housing Colony Volleyball Club with 3-1. At the end of the match SSP distributed medals to all the runner ups, winner ups and Bronze medals for third place team of the Volleyball tournament.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP said that sports is something which has been inculcated inside the human beings right from the old ages. He laid more and more stress on the need of raising the infrastructure and the level of the sports in the day to day lives of the human beings especially youngsters to keep them physically and mentally fit besides staying away from various social evils like Drugs and other crimes like terrorism etc.
