POONCH, July 3: A class 1st student was crushed to death by a Tata Sumo in Loran area of Poonch, police said.
According to a police spokesperson, 6 years Mohd Usman son of Gulzar Ahmed and resident of Loran was mowed down by a Tata Sumo, as he came out from his school premises.
“The driver fled from the spot leaving behind his vehicle having registration No JK12 1685. A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and vehicle seized”, he said, adding the dead body of the child has been handed over to family members after conducting autopsy.
