JAMMU, Aug 10: Vice Chairman J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kisan Daljit Singh Chib today visited Government Middle School Jourian, which has been adopted to be developed as model school.
On the occasion, Daljit Singh Chib inaugurated Play way Section in the school and provided Sports and education material to the students. He also distributed school uniforms, shoes, toys among the students.
He also interacted with the Farmer community and distributed fruit trees among them and also planted some fruit trees in the campus of the school. He said that Rs. 6.5 lakh had been projected to repair the school building.
Later, Chib visited Power Grid Station and directed the XEN PDD to ensure that the people get adequate power supply. He also announced Rs 31.57 lakh for change of panel and repair/change of electric wires in the area.
Meanwhile, the VC also visited Seed Multiplication Farm Bakore and distributed 200 Gava fruit trees among the farmers and gathering.
