KISHTWAR, Sept 1: Chenab Construction Group was today constituted in District Kishtwar with the unanimous election of Mohd Iqbal Agoo as the chairman.
The main objective for formation of this group is to work for the welfare of the working classes and also to raise the issues related to the contractors community.
Javed Iqbal Ahanger was nominated as president, Roshan Lal as general secretary and Rajinder Sharma as cashier. Mashood Mattoo, Tariq Hussain Kripak, Ishtaq Ahmed Khanday, Nasser Ahmed Bagwan, Riaz Ahmed Malik, Dev Saroop Sharma, Farooq Ahmed Sheikh, Jahiangir Ahmed and Ab Rashid Dar were nominated as executive members.
The newly nominated office bearers after formation of the Chenab Construction Group, called upon the General Manager DPS NHPC Kishtwar and put forth their demands besides assuring full co- operation.
