Chemical prices end flat in thin trade

NEW DELHI, May 13:  There were muted activities at the chemicals market in the national capital today with prices moving in a narrow range on scattered deals and settling around previous levels.
Marketmen said negligible enquiries from consuming industries mainly kept chemical prices unaltered.
Following are today’s quotations:
Ammonium chloride (50 kg) Rs 950-1,800, Acetic acid (1kg) Rs 53-57, Ammonia bicarb (25 kg) Rs 500-600, Boric acid technical (50 kg) Rs 3,800-4,300, Borex granular (50 kg) Rs 2,100-2,400.
Caustic soda flake (50 kg) Rs 2,250-2,350, Citric acid (50 kg) (China) Rs 3,850-4,250, Citric acid deshi (50 kg) Rs 4,100-4,600, Camphor slab (1 kg) Rs 430, Camphor powder (1kg) Rs 375, Glycerin (1 kg) Rs 100-150, Hexamine (1kg) Rs 98, Hydrogen peroxide (1 kg) Rs 30-40, menthol bold crystal (per kg) Rs 1,170, menthol flake (1 kg) Rs 1,130 and mentha oil (1kg) Rs 1,050.
