JAMMU, Apr 20: The Chardi Kla Diwas of Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch was celebrated at Gurudwara Digiana Ashram, here by the celebrating committee Chardi Kla.
The function was organized under the supervision of Mahant Manjit Singh of Sheromani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch.
The leaders of various Sikh organizations of J&K, religious, social and political personalities participated in the function and highlighted the achievements of Mahant Manjit Singh towards the people of the State in general and Sikh community in particular in the field of religious education.
Sudarshan Singh Wazir, Chairman, Sikh United Front J&K and Raman Bhalla, former Minister also participated in the programme.
Dr Onkar Singh Soodan, Chairman, MBS College of Engineering and Technology presented one and half year report card before the Sikh community people and said that the college has became a best engineering college in J&K and many famous companies are giving job placement to its degree holders.
Among others present were Dr Jaswant Singh, Lakhbir Singh Bawa, Prof Hardev Singh, Hardit Singh, Dr Nater Singh, Dr Anmol Singh, Retd IG SS Bijral, etc.
