CEO interacts with Shrine Board staff at Sanjichhat

KATRA, July 14: As part of the programme to address difficulties of the staff working on the track from Katra to Bhawan and at various other locations, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, had an interaction session with the staff of the Shrine Board at Sanjichhat today.
The CEO was accompanied by a team of officers, who included Anshul Garg, Additional CEO; Dr Arvind Karwani, Dy CEO; Jagdish Singh, SDM, Bhawan and other concerned officers of the Board.
The CEO enumerated the various measures which have already been taken up and those in the pipeline for addressing the difficulties of the staff and ensuring their better career prospects. He also threw light on the welfare initiatives, which are being taken for the staff by the Board. He interacted with the staff in regard to their personnel related matters, welfare initiatives for Safai Karamcharis and other staff.
During interaction, the staff briefed the CEO about various personnel issues and presented to him a memorandum of their demands. These, interalia, pertained to pay fixation, release of grades, promotions and regularization etc. The CEO issued on the spot directions to the concerned to ensure time bound disposal of personnel matters of employees and addressing other demands projected in the memorandum. He also lauded the efforts made by the officers and staff of the Board to ensure facilitation of pilgrims visiting the Holy Cave Shrine, which have been widely acclaimed.
The CEO also felicitated some of the Safai Karamcharis and other employees as a token of appreciation for their outstanding performance and devotion to duty.
Among those who participated in the interaction programme, included a number of Safai Karamcharis and other staff of the Board posted in the area.
Later, the CEO inspected staff quarters at Sanjichhat and asked the concerned engineers to ensure that the residential accommodation of the Safai Karamcharis is maintained properly and availability of all basic amenities is ensured.
