JAMMU, July 7: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Economic Reconstruction Agency, (ERA) Farooq Ahmad Lone along with senior officials of ERA conducted site inspection of various ongoing projects in Jammu. CEO interacted with the general public at various sewerage sites and inspected the progress of house connection by visiting households in Janipur area. He issued on spot instructions to engineers to ensure systematic and timely completion of sewerage house connection.
Director ERA Jammu, Abdul Majid Shabnam apprised CEO that eighty three percent of house connection are completed till date.
Further, CEO visited the water supply project sites including the under testing Over Head Tank at Ploura. He impressed upon engineers and contractors to expedite the completion of OHT so that the general public could be benefited.
Later, CEO chaired meeting of senior officers of various line departments for the preparation of concept paper of various short listed projects for the proposed Jammu and Kashmir Infrastructure Development program (JKIDP) to be funded by the Asian Development Bank.
