CEC takes stock of drugs, facilities available for patients

KARGIL, Oct 17: Chief Executive Councilor (CEC) LAHDC Asgar Ali Karbalie visited Community Health Center at Zanskar, and took stock of drugs and facilities available for the patients during the forthcoming winter season.
Addressing a gathering at Padum, Karbalie said that his party will always uplift the downtrodden and far-flung areas in the field of development with out consideration of any caste creed and religion.
CEC requested the people to maintain peace and communal harmony in the region and look for the overall development of Kargil.
Executive Councilor for Tourism Skalzang Wangyal was also present.
Later, CEC called a meeting of the Congress workers and District Officers and took stock of the ongoing developmental activities in Zanskar Sub Division, and stressed on the stocking of essential commodities before the closure of road during winter.
Karbalie directed the officers of Power Department to assure uninterrupted power supply.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Commissioner Kargil Fida Hussain, SE Kargil, and district and sub divisional officers.
Meanwhile, CEC also visited Gyapak Neroq, Salapi and Pibiting vllages and gave a patient hearing to the grievances of the people and assured to fulfill their demands at the earliest.
