POONCH, Apr 12: SDM Mendhar Rahul Yadav today strong note as CDPO office and a Govt Primary School were found locked during mid day today.
Official sources said that SDM received phone calls from Balakote from the locals that CDPO office was locked even at 12 noon and people had come to the office for some work and were waiting outside. Another message was received from Danna village of Balakote that local Primary School was also locked and about a dozen children were sitting in the veranda and waiting for the teachers.
Upon this, the SDM sent a Revenue official for confirmation of the information/ complaint and found that both were correct. Upon this, Yadav sought the explanation from CDPO and ZEO Balakote and also initiated an inquiry in this regard. He said action would be taken against the absentee staff.
