After the demise of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Ms Mehbooba Mufti and her party besides BJP High Command unnecessarily took lot of time to be in the seat of power in the State. Almost all in political parties in the opposition besides separatist leaders of different hues had a field day during more than two months of Governor rule to spread their tentacles and create conditions to see that PDP-BJP combine does not once again come to power in the state on their premise that PDP is furthering the RSS agenda in the State, especially in the Valley. In light of this, It was on expected lines that when PDP-BJP combine would once again come to power it won’t smoothly gulp down the throat of power hungry National Conference and Congress, who were eagerly waiting in wings to grab power. Besides separatists too wanted to have their pound of flesh . To sum up, the present on going mess in Kashmir is the result of delay in Government formation by PDP-BJP combine, besides recent cold shoulder approach of GOI to Pakistan on talks between the two countries also added fuel to the fire. In return Pakistan lost no time in fomenting trouble in Kashmir valley through its paid cronies. Another factor of giving long rope by the Government to the anti national activities of some legislators besides leaving Scot free and untouched Kashmiri students who raised anti national slogans at JNU emboldened some sections of youth in Kashmir to resort to violence simultaneously in various parts of Kashmir valley, resulting in unwanted death and destruction forcing the Government to rush more reinforcements in Kashmir valley after a very long time. How far the present day Government in the state is able to restore the Rule of Law only time will tell.
