Cataract patients operated free of cost at Rotary Hospital

UDHAMPUR, Nov 9:  Eighteen  patients,  who were operated free of cost at Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur yesterday, were discharged today.
All these patients regain their vision after cataract surgery.  The surgical cost of all these patients was sponsored by  Abhinav Sanson, son of  Rtn. Rajendra Sanson, secretary general of Rotary Hospital Udhampur.
On this occasion Rtn  Rajendra Sanson & Rtn Puran Lal Sharma (president Rotary Club Udhampur) assured their full support to the organization in future for prevention of blindness so that poor people of the area may not loose their vision for lack of eye care facilities.
Earlier, a  camp was organized at Lalli Dabbar on November 5, in which 252 patients were screened and out of them,  25 were detected for required surgeries. During screening of the patients,  free medicines were provided by Sham Lal Khajuria.
