Cardamom prices up on scattered buying

 

NEW DELHI, Dec 9:Cardamom prices rose by Rs 10 by Rs 10 per kg at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today largely on rising demand from retailers and stockists amid paucity of stocks.

            Cardamom brown Jhundiwali and brown-Kanchicut were up by Rs 10 each to Rs 530-550 and Rs 610-910 per kg respectively.

            Marketmen said rising domestic as well as export demand against paucitty of stocks mainly weighed on cardamom prices.
