Cardamom prices fall on muted demand

NEW DELHI, May 5: Cardamom brown prices fell by Rs 10 per kg at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today in view of low demand from retailers and stockists amidst adequate stocks.
Cardamom brown (Jhundiwali and Kanchicut) prices declined by Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 610-620 and Rs 660-960 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said muted demand from retailers and stockists against adequate stocks, mainly pulled down cardamom prices.
