Cardamom futures slide 0.56% on muted demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 2: Cardamom prices drifted lower by 0.56 per cent to Rs 1,042 per kg in futures trade today as investors exited positions amid easing demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in April declined by Rs 5.90, or 0.56 per cent to Rs 1,042 per kg in business turnover of 6 lots.
Traders said offloading of positions by participants on the back of decline in demand in the physical market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts mainly weighed on cardamom prices at futures trade. (PTI)
