Cardamom futures edge lower by 0.68% on muted demand

NEW DELHI, May 30: Cardamom prices fell 0.68 per cent to Rs 901 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced exposure amid easing demand at the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in June declined by Rs 6.20, or 0.68 per cent, to Rs 901 per kg in a business turnover of 2 lots.
Traders said cutting down of positions by participants on the back of sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions weighed on cardamom prices in futures trade. (PTI)
