JAMMU, Apr 12: Cantt Football Club and Vijay Hero’s registered victories over their rivals in the ongoing 2nd Phase of 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State League Football Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), here.
In the first match, Cantt Star FC defeated SFA Football Club by two goals to nil (2-0). Harvinder and Vipul were the goal scorers.
In another match, Vijay Hero’s trounced Param Risers Football Club by three goals to nil (3-0). Ritik Uppal was the star performer, who pelted 2 goals, while Nawon scored one goal.
Sheikh Mehmood, Charan Dass, Varinder Kumar, Yousuf Don, Rajesh Kumar and Amardeep Singh were prominent among othrs who witnessed the matches.
The matches were officiated by Surjeet Singh, Ajay Sareen, Honey Mehra, Ankit Mehta, Ashish Kumar, Devanshu and Abhishek.
