JAMMU, Feb 11: Cantabil Showroom at Wave Mall is fulfilling the needs of its customer in full varieties of clothing.
Cantabil Retail India Limited is in the business of designing, manufacturing, branding and retailing of apparels under the brand name of ‘Cantabil’. They have a network of 210 plus exclusive retail outlets and employee strength of more than 2500, spread across India.
“We are a leading company in the name of modern wear and offering, a complete range of formal-wear, party-wear, casuals and ultracasual clothing for men and women in the middle to high income group,” said Montu, the owner of the showroom.

“Just in some years, Cantabil has become a complete family wear brand with addition of women’s wear segment in 2007 under brand name CROZO. Sales of the company were Rs 198 crore in fiscal year 2017-18. We launched another brand Kaneston in 2013”, Montu said.
The Kaneston brand caters to men’s segment in accessories like under-garments, ties, belts, socks, caps and handkerchief etc, he said, adding that for those who think of Cantabil as an Italian brand or an Indian subsidiary of an Italian company, sorry for the disappointment. The brand doesn’t have an Italian connection except its name and design, he informed.
“We are always highly inspired by Italian designs. “Then, one fine day I stumbled upon this Italian word ‘Cantabile’ which means something worth looking at,” recalls Vijay Bansal, now the owner of a Rs 200 crore company.
“We have chains of exclusive retail outlets under the brand name “Cantabil” which display and sell the brand exclusively. To enhance visibility and to ensure maximum footfalls, our stores are situated at malls and at prominent locations of the major metro, mini metros, large cities and other Tier II cities”, he said, adding that such metro and cities includes Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Jammu, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Vadodra, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Meerut, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Udaipur, Agra, Ghaziabad and Gurgaon.
