Candle march taken out to seek justice for Asifa

JAMMU, Feb 28: A candle-march protest was taken out this evening by JKGBY under the presidentship of Ch Nazakat Khatana from Jamia Masjid (Belicharana) to Bikram Chowk seeking justice for Asifa.
Numerous people including enthusiast young boys, children and women with lighting candle in their hands were shouting and chanting slogans viz. “Asifa Hum Sharminda Hain Teray Katil Zinda Hain”.
While talking to media persons, Ch Khatana said, that they will not allow anybody to disrespect the tricolor like some people who support the murderers of Asifa while holding the tricolor in their hands”.
He requested all parties and people not to link the Asifa incident with politics. “Don’t divide people on the basis of religion or cast”, he said and appealed the Government to take strict action against the culprits so that justice may be done on humanitarian basis.
