RAJOURI, Feb 3: Prof Javed Musarrat, Vice Chancellor of BGSB University, today inaugurated Peer Pal cafe on the university campus under the start- up initiatives taken up by the university to promote entrepreneurship among the student community.
It is worth to mention that this is first of its kind arrangement where in the cafeteria is being run by the students within the university campus. The cafeteria shall be managed by the School of Management Studies.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Musarrat congratulated the team of MBA students for showcasing entrepreneurship acumen. He said that the initiative taken up by the students of The School of Management Studies will encourage many other promising students to go for entrepreneurship as a career option. He advised the students to become job providers rather then job seekers.
Prof Mussarat advised the students to provide high quality services and seek regular feedback from the customers for ensuring Total Quality Management.
Prof Naseem Ahmed, Dean School of Management Studies, appraised the Vice Chancellor about the various initiatives of the school to boost entrepreneurship among business and economics students. He said that besides promoting entrepreneurship the cafeteria will provide in-house training to the students of MBA Hospitality and Tourism as well.
Present on the occasion were Prof Mohammed Asghar, Dean of Students, Prof Shuja-ud-Din, Director CBS, Dr Asrar Gaus, Director CHTM , Qureshi Financial Advisor, faculty members of the School of Management Studies, officers and official of the university . Muzamil, Faisal and Arif, students of MBA 4th semester, are the promoters of the cafeteria backed by a team of other Management students.
