RAJOURI, Jan 5: The police seized 300 liters of kerosene oil from a bus which was on way to Rajouri from Thannamandi today.
Reports said that acting on an information, police party led by SHO Rajouri, Insp Chaman Gorkha intercepted Bus No. JK 02W/9925 near Kheora. The driver on seeing police naka , stopped the vehicle at some distance, jumped out and escaped.
The police during search of the vehicle seized 300 liters of kerosene oil, meant for public distribution. The vehicle was also seized by police. The police registered a case FIR No. 1/ 2017 in this connection. The driver was later identified as Zubair Ahmed, son of Alaf Din, resident of Dudasanwalla. Police was looking for him.
