JAMMU, Feb 27: A burglar was hospitalized when he received injuries and fell unconscious while running after committing theft in a temple in Trikuta Nagar area, a police official said.
Stolen items including Rs 12,000 cash, gold nath of the idol and one gold jhumka has been recovered from the thief, he said, adding that the accused has been admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and is responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
In this regard, a case under relevant Sections has been registered at Trikuta Nagar police station and investigation started.
