SRINAGAR, Apr 15: Police arrested a wanted burglar and recovered stolen property worth lakhs from his possession in Budgam district today.
A Police spokesman said that during the course of investigation of case FIR No. 33/2018 under Section 457, 380 RPC of Police post Waterhail jurisdiction of Police Station Khansahib headed apprehended a burglar identified as Abdul Hamid, a resident of Dangerpora, Khansahib.
He said the stolen items recovered on the disclosure of the accused includes Inverter Exide, Inverter battery, Rs 157 denomination coins, Crowbar, Maruti 800 white colour bearing Reg No. JK01G-4814, Copper jug and 3 live sheeps and further investigation of the case is going on.
