JAMMU, Sept 18: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS) J&K organised its 30th Sports Meet (Athletics) at Gandhi Nagar, here today.
Seventeen Schools of Zones Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi, Katra, Kathua, Billawar and Jammu participated in the Meet.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma inaugurated the event in presence of a galaxy of dignitaries.
Earlier, Sameer Krishan Saproo presented welcome address and gave brief report of the event.
Pradip Kumar, Sangathan Mantri presented the work and activities of Vidya Bharti Schools and said that Vidya Bharti is running 36 Schools in J&K.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest appreciated the role of Vidya Bharti in expanding education based on rich culture of the country.
Narsingh Dass Sharma, Secretary School Management Committee Dashmesh Bharti Vidya Mandir, Dashmesh Nagar presented vote of thanks.
