JAMMU, Dec 30: The State unit of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today alleged that the Government has failed on all fronts.
Addressing a press conference, BSP J&K President Somraj Majotra flayed the Government for taking a barbaric action of lathicharge on the peaceful protest of the doctors and paramedical staff including the lady doctors and paramedical staff. Backing the agitating contractual doctors and paramedical staff, Majotra said that BSP stands with them.
“Government has adopted callous approach towards the poor masses living below the poverty line. The so called benefits under central schemes are not reaching to the poor. Even the poor and far flung villages are being ignored in the development agenda”, Majotra added.
He criticized the BJP-PDP coalition Government for non implementation of Mandal Commission report in the State as the OBCs are being ignored in various fronts.
He also criticized the State SSRB Chairman who has withdrawn the concession in filing the forms for various posts as there was need for concessions in the fee charged from SC, ST and OBC candidates.
“Re-conduct the survey for identification of poor and deserving families who are being neglected”, he demanded.
He also demanded the restoration of reservation of the employees kept with held in various departments. He also announced that the party office will remain open daily to attend the problem of general masses.
