JAMMU, Jan 18: BSNL has commenced 4G Mobile services in J&K with the launch of 4G at Tehsil Akhnoor comprising of Akhnoor town, Khour, Sohal, Jourian, Pallanwala with 24 numbers of 4G sites.
Further the 4G services will be available shortly at Poonch, Reasi, Ramnagar in Udhampur District, Baramulla District including Sopore.
Existing 3G services in these areas will be closed consequent to the launch of 4G.
However 2G services will continue as earlier.
Customers availing 3G facility are requested to get their SIMs replaced free of cost with 4G SIM at BSNL Customer Service Centers to access 4G services.
BSNL Jammu is organizing special camps for customers convenience in Akhnoor area for SIM replacement. For new customers, 4G SIM will be given free of cost on promotional basis.
