SRINAGAR, Apr 20: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced installation of new High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) already popular with the name of EVDO services in major district headquarters across the valley.
In a statement, it said, “With the commissioning of these HSIA in Baramulla, Sopore and Pulwama, the total number of EVDO BTS’s will rise to 21 thus providing internet access to these rural areas.”
The subscribers will enjoy surfing at the speed upto 2Mbps and is the cheapest of all the service providers besides the subscriber can roam all over the country without any extra cost.
BSNL expect that the commissioning will improve customer confidence and widen its customer base. The company is already providing state of art technology like Broadband and 3G services to its esteemed subscribers.
