BSF repatriates Pak youth

JAMMU, June 2:  In a goodwill gesture, India today repatriated the Pakistani national who had inadvertently crossed over to this side from a forward area along the International border in Arnia, yesterday.
The 24-year Pak youth, identified as Akram Khan (24) son of Jameel Ahmad of Sialkot, was formally handed over to Pakistani Rangers by the Border Security Force in Arnia sector.
As reported earlier, Akram Khan was arrested by BSF jawans of 193 battalion near the IB fencing at forward Chenaz Post in Chanana area in Arnia yesterday morning. Pakistani currency amounting Rs 65 but no incriminatory material were found from his possession.
Though BSF also quizzed him, he was found innocent who had inadvertently crossed over to this side following which authorities decided to repatriate him as a goodwill gesture.
