BSF repatriates Pak national

JAMMU, Mar 3: The Border Security Force (BSF) today repatriated an elderly Pakistani national who was arrested after inadvertently crossing over to the Indian side along the International Border in Arnia sector yesterday.
He was handed over to Pakistani Rangers at a Border Outpost along the IB in Jammu district today, official sources said.
“A Pakistani national was handed over to Pak Rangers at Pittal Border Out Post (BOP) along IB By BSF troops at 9.30 am,” sources said.
During preliminary investigations, he had revealed his name as Shahnawaz, a resident of Mankot village in Sialkot district of Pakistan.
“The individual is quite weak and seems to have inadvertently crossed into Indian side,” sources said, adding the BSF repatriated the elderly Pakistani citizen to the Rangers on humanitarian grounds.
