KATHUA, Jan 12: A medical camp was organized today by 173 Battalion BSF at Government Middle School, Londi near Indo-Pak border.
A large number of people including men, women and children from villages Londi, Bobiya and Bhati Mehru attended the camp. Free medicines were distributed to the needy people while various diagnostic tests like Blood Pressure, Sugar and ECG were also done by a team of medical officers from BSF.
Earlier, the camp was inaugurated by K Ganesh, Commandant, 173 Battalion, BSF. In his address to the villagers, he stressed on the need of regular medical checkup and awareness about fitness among villagers. He called upon the youth of the bordering villages to shun drug abuse, live healthy and opt for joining the armed forces.
