JAMMU, Mar 29: Getting better of the J&K Police Central Hockey team by three goals to one (3-1) in the summit clash, BSF Kashmir Hockey team lifted the title trophy of the State Hockey Championship, organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here today.
From BSF Kashmir, Kuldeep scored the first goal in 5th minute of the match, while the second goal was converted via penalty corner by Akash in 19 minute, who also netted the third goal in 59th minute. The lone goal from J&K Police Hockey team was netted by Mohd Hussain in 8th minute.
Rajeev Sharma, Social Worker was the chief guest on the occasion, while prominent among others present on the occasion were SS Bali, MY Kitchloo, Dr Sanjogita Sudan, Ajeet Singh, VK Dutta, RGN Wani, Jigmet, Harbans Singh and Manmohan Pal Singh.
The match was officiated by MS Reen, Satvir Singh, Joginder Singh, Iqbal Singh, Vijay Vaid, Karanjit Singh and JS Reen.
The Championship was conducted under the overall supervision of GS Bakshi, General Secretary Hockey J&K.
