SAMBA, Mar 30: BSF 80 Bn organised a Volleyball Tournament at Govt. High School, Mawa Village, here today.
The Tournament was inaugurated by Pardeep Katyal, DIG BSF Indereshwar Nagar in presence of Madan Lal, Commandant and other BSF officials of 80 Bn.
During the Tournament, Principal of Govt School Mawa, Sarpanch of the Village and other villagers were also present.
The Tournament in which 6 teams took part had begun on March 25, 2017.
The final match was played between Mawa High School and Mawa Camp, wherein Mawa High School emerged winner by 3-1 to lift the title.
Mr Katyal distributed medals among the winners and runners-up teams, besides other participating teams.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said, BSF is making constant efforts to improve the social condition of Border population by taking up various projects.
