POONCH, Aug 26: With the breakdown in internet service of the BSNL authorities in many parts of district Poonch for the last one week, the general public is suffering badly.
Today the members of Youth Club Poonch led by Nishu Gupta its president, held protest against the BSNL authorities and urged upon the District Magistrate Poonch and SSP Poonch to take cognizance of the matter, serve the notice to the Company management and also issue directions for lodging an FIR against them. They alleged that matter was brought to the notice of concerned higher authorities at Rajouri but they claim that OFC has been damaged some where and due to it the service has been affected.
They alleged that despite assurance the services have not been restored in this border district. The entire ATM and other banking operation has been suspended. Youth are unable to fill online forms for various jobs and several other services have also been badly affected. They warned to intensify struggle.
