JAMMU, Dec 1: A programme on “Self Governance for Good Governance” was conducted today at Brahmakumaris’ main centre located at BC Road, Jammu for the administrators.
The chief guest on the occasion was B B Vyas, Advisor to Governor, who while speaking on the occasion, said this organization is not only a spiritual organization but the teachings which are provided here are relevant for the people from all the walks of the life.
He said if all the participants present here start bringing into the practice these teachings from this programme for Administrators by Brahmakumaris, the vices like aggression, greed, lust, ego, corruption etc will get eliminated within no time and in very short time our society will turn into a corruption free and ideal society.
Rajyogini Asha Didi, Director, Om Shanti Retreat Centre, Northern India Campus of Brahmkumaris, Chairperson of Administrators’ Wing, said that a person cannot rule the world until and unless he rules his own self. She threw the light on a very important matter that “I am not the mind but the mind belongs to me. If the mind is mine so we have the right over the thing which belongs to us. When we make the mind our friend then it automatically works according to our will. So in place of governing others we need to govern our own self in order to have a pleasant and positive atmosphere at our work place as well as the society”.
Sharing his experience, Ramesh Kumar, DC Jammu, said that he got the awareness about Brahmakumaris through the Peace of Mind TV. “I personally feel that in today’s stressful life we should also conduct such type of meditation programmes in our routine life”, he added.
OP Bhagat, (Director Tourism) said that the Organization is making honest efforts towards awakening the society from the deep slumber of ignorance and educating them to inculcate the values for a peaceful and happy society.
