Boy dies in bike-vehicle collision

RAJOURI, June 23: A 15-year-old boy was killed when his bike collided with a Tata Mobile vehicle near Salani bridge in Rajouri this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that incident took place when 15-year-old boy, Mohd Nafeez, son of Mohd Rafiq,  resident of  Kot Behrote was moving on his new motor-cycle. He was studying in Rajouri town in class 9th and also staying here. At Salani bridge his without number plate bike collided with Tata Mobile No. JK-4A/ 2636 at around 4.10 pm.
The seriously injured boy was rushed to District Hospital, Rajouri where doctors provided first aid and then  referred him to GMC&H, Jammu for serious head injuries.  The boy succumbed to injuries near Kallar between Rajouri and Nowshera.  His body was brought back to Rajouri hospital and after conducting  postmortem and performing legal formalities police handed over the body of the  deceased to the family members. The police seized the vehicle  but  its driver managed to escape.
