JAMMU, Jan 21: Akhnoor and Bishnah police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 10 cattle and arresting two persons.
As per police sources, a team from Akhnoor Police Station rescued three bovine animals from a Tata Mobile vehicle and arrested two persons, whereas a team from Bishnah Police Station rescued seven bovine animals, but the accused smugglers managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Akhnoor and Bishnah Police Stations and investigation started.
