Bovines smuggling bid foiled

KISHTWAR, Jan 3: Atholi police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing six cattle and arresting two persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Atholi Police Station laid a naka at Gulabgarh and rescued six cattle from the possession of two persons and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Abdul Rashid, son of Ghulam Qadir Butt of Banzwarr Kishtwar and Kasturi Lal, son of Bhag Chand of Garh Paddar.
A case under FIR Number 1/18 under relevant Sections has been registered at Atholi Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Atholi DySP Prob Rafi foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SDPO Atholi Rajinder Singh and SSP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary.
