JAMMU, Mar 18: Due to alleged leakage of   Hindi question paper of Class 10th, examination of which was held on March 17, the J&K Board of School Education has ordered cancellation and re-examination of the said paper.
The re-examination of Hindi subject shall be conducted on March 30, 2017 without any change in time and venue for the exam.
The candidates, who had to take their practical examination on March 30, 2017, as per the already issued practical date sheet of Class 10th, shall now take their practical examination on April 2 (Sunday), instead of March 30.
“Due to unavoidable circumstances, examination of Hindi subject of Secondary School examination (Class 10th) Annual Session 2017, Regular (Summer Zone) JD, which was conducted on 17-03-2017, has been cancelled and re-examination of the said subject shall be conducted on March 30, 2017 (Thursday), says a notification, issued this evening by JKBOSE.
Pertinent to mention that the packet containing question papers of Hindi subject was found opened before commencement of the exam at an examination  centre in Rajouri yesterday.  The packet was found open by a team of Education Department, which was on routine inspection of the examination centre.
The BOSE has also constituted a three-member enquiry committee to look into the matter and submit a detailed report even as Superintendent of the said examination centre had claimed that the packet of question paper was opened just before arrival of the inspection team and there was no leakage of the same.
