UDHAMPUR, Jan 30: Udhampur police today arrested a bootlegger from Chenani Mini Bus Stand area and seized 40 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
The accused, identified as Amro of village Ladh (Mani Kasuri), tahsil Ramnagar, was intercepted by a Police party from Udhampur Police Station when he was travelling on foot near Chenani Mini Bus Stand. During his thorough search, Police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor. Police arrested the accused and seized the recovered liquor.
A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
