KATHUA, Aug 7: Contin-uing its drive to nab the smugglers of illicit liquor, District Police Kathua on August 6 arrested one bootlegger.
A police party of PS Kathua acting on a specific information under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Kathua and on the direction of Mohd. Suleman Choudhary, SSP Kathua conducted raid at Barnoti and nabbed one bootlegger namely Daleep Kumar S/o Soudagar Mal R/o Chack Desa Singh, Kathua and 25 pouches (250 ml) of Indian made liquor (Frooties) were recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 236/2017 U/S 48(f) Excise Act stands registered against him at Police Station Kathua.
