JAMMU, Nov 6: “Terrorism-A Curse for Humanity”, a book written by Kavinder Pal Singh, was released today in a simple but impressive function held at Press Club, Jammu.
The book was released by former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, who was the chief guest on the occasion. The book is about consequences of terrorism in this world and its impact on economy and environment. The book also contains a list of major terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.
Kavinder Gupta, while releasing the book said, radical speeches and statements play a crucial role in promoting global terrorism. He said not only India but whole world is facing this extreme challenge of terrorism, which is spreading every day. Terrorism is an ever-growing threat to world security.
Author of the book, while speaking on the occasion, said, “We should not support terrorism and always condemn any terrorist activity in this world. Killing innocents in the name of religion and freedom is terrorism, and it is a curse for a civilized world and humanity. There is no room for terrorism in a civilized world and it is our duty as a civilized citizen to speak up against terrorism. He said everyone has to think about the worst effects of terrorism on this world and on our coming generation”.
