Srinagar, Dec 29: Police today recovered a body of 42-year-old woman from Jihama area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Locals informed the police about the body lying at Jihama. A police team immediately rushed to the area and recovered the body. She has been identified as Haneefa Begium, wife of Ghulam Hassan Khai of Tangen, Baramulla.
Police said apparently the woman might have died after mauled by a wild animal.
Police registered a case under section 174 CrPc and started investigation.
