UDHAMPUR, Jan 27: Ramnagar police today recovered the dead body of a man who was washed away due to flash flood in Satya Nallah late last evening.
According to the police sources, a man identified as bagdi (43) son of Khan Mir, resident of village Fagyal (Ladana) in Ramnagar Tehsil, was washed away at Satya Nallah in Village ldana in Ramnagar, late last evening.
His dead body was recovered today and handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after postmortem at Sub District Hospital Ramnagar. Police has registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, in a road mishap, a pedestrian was hit by a motorcycle near Jakhani Chowk at National Highway. Locals took the injured to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured person was identified as labourer Radha Sham (52) son of Mathur Prshad of UP, who was at present residing at Jakhani, Udhampur.
