Body of missing girl recovered from dam

KATHUA, Dec 28: Body of a missing girl has been recovered from Gatti Dam, falling under the jurisdiction of Bani Police Station.
As per police sources, the dead body of a girl identified as Reena Devi (18), daughter of Suraj Prakash, a resident of Bhandhar, tehsil Bani was recovered today morning from Gatti Dam by the rescue team of SDRF.
She was missing from her residence since December 25 and a missing report in this regard stands registered with Bani Police Station.
The body of the deceased was shifted to PHC Bani, where after conducting autopsy, the body has been handed over to family members for last rites.
A case in this regard has been registered at Bani Police Station and investigation started.
